Dimapur, July 6: Nagaland COVID-19 cases jumped to 625 on Monday with the detection of 35 new cases. But with 243 recoveries, the total active cases in the State are 382.
The total recovery rate in the State is 39%.
Principal Home Secretary, Abhijit Sinha, IAS said all the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. As per the severity of symptoms, 381 active cases are asymptomatic and one active case is in mild category.
A total of 3,807 persons are presently under facility quarantine in Nagaland.
Sinha informed that another special train is leaving Bengaluru, Karnataka Monday evening and will arrive Dimapur on July 9. About 500 stranded persons of Nagaland are expected to travel in the train along with passengers from other North Eastern States. (Page News Service)
