Nagaland COVID-19 tally climbs to 9578

Dimapur, November 11: Nagaland on Wednesday reported 42 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 9578. But with 8595 recoveries and 44 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 838.
Out of the 42 new cases, 26 were detected in Dimapur, 7 in Kohima, 4 in Mon, 2 in Tuensang and one each in Mokokchung, Peren & Zunheboto.
As per the severity of symptoms 781 active cases are asymptomatic, 28 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 12 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical without oxygen and 4 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 9578 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 4088, Traced Contacts – 3336, Returnees – 1686 and Frontline Workers – 468.
