Nagaland COIVD-19 tally climbs to 9474; 1 more death reported

Dimapur, November 8: Nagaland on Sunday reported 19 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 9474. But with 8350 recoveries, and 40 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 985.

Of the 19 new cases, 12 were detected in Kohima, 3 in Mon, 2 in Dimapur and one each in Mokokchung & Tuensang.
One more death was also reported on Sunday.
As per the severity of symptoms, 925 active cases are asymptomatic, 32 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical without oxygen and 4 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 9474 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 4074, Traced Contacts – 3262, Returnees – 1676 and Frontline Workers – 462.
