Nagaland Cabinet agrees “in principle” to include Deptts outside NSSB purview

Nagaland News

KOHIMA, APRIL 21: The Nagaland Cabinet today agreed “in principle” to include all those Departments, which were outside the purview of Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) Regulations, 2020.
The decision came on the day the ENSF launched an indefinite agitation at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Complex, Kohima.
Informing about the Cabinet decision, Advisor Mmhonlumo Kikon said that the Cabinet has decided in principle to include the Departments, which were not under the purview of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board, Regulation 2020.
Further, the Cabinet Sub-Committee will meet the ENSF to work out the modalities in the days to come, he said.
Taking into account the outcome of the meeting, the GoN has also appealed to the ENSF to call off their indefinite agitation.
Kikon also informed that the Cabinet has approved the joint demand made by the NSF and the ENSF to streamline and rationalise SSA & RMSA teachers of 2010 & 2013 batches.
In this case, 2311 teachers will have to again go for final verification of documents for mainstreaming.
They will be included in the School Education cadre, he added.
The 2311 teachers identified for further verification fall under three categories.
First category covers the teachers whose documents have already been verified. Under the second category, documents of 10 teachers are yet to be verified because the institution that issued their qualification certificates are yet to respond to the Department, and the third category includes the detection of 11 cases involving submission of fraudulent certificate.
Show cause notice has been made out to these people, informed Kikon.
