Nagaland becomes COVID-19-free


KOHIMA, MAY 19: Nagaland today became a Coronavirus-free State with the total number of COVID-19 infections at 35,495.
Dimapur district had an active case till yesterday but the patient migrated to another State today bringing down the active cases in the State to zero for the second time since April 24 last.
The number of recovered patients in the State is 33,246.
The COVID-19 recovery rate is 93.67%.
The death toll in the State is 760.
Altogether 1,489 patients have migrated to other States.
Nagaland has so far tested a total of 4,73,186 samples for the infection.
Over 17,89,664 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the State till May 18. (Page News Service)
