Nagaland beat Manipur in C K Nayudu trophy


Dimapur, November 25: Nagaland U-23 men’s team won its third consecutive four-day match of the Col C K Nayudu trophy by beating Manipur by 9 wickets at NCA Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur today. Manipur gave a target of 62 runs after suffering a first innings deficit of 137 runs.
Earlier, Nagaland beat Sikkim at Bhubaneswar and Meghalaya at Shillong. The next match is at Golaghat from November 30 to December 3 against Arunachal. Other matches are against Pudduchery from December 8 to 11, against Mizoram from Decemeber 16 to 19, against Bihar from December 24 to 27 and against Uttrakhand from January 1 to 4.
The top team of the group will qualify for All India Knock-out stage.
