Patient improving, says Pangnyu
Dimapur, April 13: The Government of Nagaland has informed that collection of samples of people in connection with the positive case of the person from Dimapur is going on and till 5 pm today (Monday), a total of 36 samples have been collected.
Out of the 36 samples, 22 samples were collected from Kohima and 14 samples from Dimapur, informed by Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IAS in his daily update on COVID-19 status of the State.
Meanwhile, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Pangnyu Phom tweeted that the condition of the first patient from Dimapur who tested positive for corona virus at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital is improving.
“Update jst now from Ghy: the condition of the first patient from Dimapur who was tested +ve at Guwhati Medical College yesterday is improving,” he tweeted.
He further stated that his father’s sample was tested negative on the first test and expressed gratitude to all frontlineers of Assam who is taking care of the patient.
“His father’s sample was tested Negative on the first test. Grateful to all frontliners of Assam who is tkng care of the patient,” he tweeted. (Page News Service)
