Naga students in Delhi participate in Young India Adhikar March

Dimapur, February 8: The Nagaland Students of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi organized ‘Young India Adhikar March’ on February 7 from Lal Qila to Parliament Street, where representatives and concerned students of Ao (DAKT), Angami Students Union Delhi (ASUD), Eastern Naga Students Union Delhi (DENSU), JNU Nagaland Studetns, Naga Students Union Delhi (NSUD) and Lotha Students Union Delhi (LSUD).
The students demanded the Government of Nagaland to advertise the 68 Assistant Professor and Librarian Posts immediately and end corrupt mode of backdoor appointment.
The students also stood in solidarity with the NNQF (Nagaland Net Qualified Forum) who is taking up this issue on legal grounds and appealed to all Student organizations in Nagaland to support the cause.
TheYoung India Adhikar March was attended by the likes of AISA, JNUSU, RSYF, YAF, North East Students Forum JNU and many other student organisations with five demands to ensure equal representation, non-discrimination, and academic freedom for higher education in the country.
