
Dimapur, March 25: Naga Baptist leaders and pastors from Myanmar, Manipur, Assam and Nagaland, attended the Naga Baptist Leaders Meet 2023 cum general assembly of Fellowship of Naga Baptist Association (FNBA) at Jaluki Town Local Baptist Church on the theme “Redefining Naga Christianity”. Altogether 131 delegates from 35 Naga Baptist Associations and organisations attended the meet.
On the first night, Rev. Dr. Akheto Sema, general secretary of CBCNEI brought a challenging message and Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary of NBCC, brought a powerful message along with his greetings.
Rev. Dr. Wati Longkumer, chairman of IMCC, presented a paper on “Current mission scenario and re-envisioning of Naga Churches missions.” Rev. Robin Paul, President of Kingdom Business School, spoke on “Naga Christianity in Kingdom’s business. Niketu Iralu spoke on “The realities of our geography & history: Will our response destroy us or enable our proper growth?” Dr. Visier Meyasetsu Sanyii presented a paper on “Nagas are moving ahead”. Rev Dr Elungkiebe Zeliang presented a paper on “Envisioning the life and ministry of the Naga Baptist churches”.
In the closing service, Rev Dr Chingmak Chang brought a very challenging and relevant message based on the theme. The 2-day programmme successfully concluded on March 24.
Resolutions were adopted under the presidentship of Rev Dr Visor H Zeliang during the Naga Baptist Leaders Meet cum general assembly.
