Dimapur, March 15: A three-member NAAC Peer Team visited Tetso College on March 14-15 led by Mohd Iqbal Ali Ali (chairperson), Vice Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telengana, Dr. Prof. Ratan Borman (member coordinator), Professor, Assam University, Diphu Campus and Dr. K. Meharmani Key (member) from Karnataka, Bangalore.
The NAAC Peer Team interacted with the Principal, IQAC team of the college, staff, parents, alumni, Tetso Student Council and other clubs and units. A highlight of their visit was the luncheon interaction with members from the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, Dr. Watijungshi Jamir, Additional Director and Atula Aier, Assistant Director, as well as some members of the Board of Directors which included Er. Levi Magh, Er. V.G. Sugathan and Atovi Sema.
The exit meeting was held on March 15, with IQAC coordinator, Shitio Shitiri chairing the session. Mohd Iqbal Ali Ali, chairperson of the NAAC Peer Team addressed the faculty and students with a word of appreciation to the college community for their effort at imparting quality education, and emphasized about the importance of strengthening research focus and output. He strongly appreciated the students for their discipline and skillful talent from their performances at the cultural programme, and declared them as one of the key assets of the college.
