Muslim youths donate blood in Dimapur

Dimapur, June 14: On the occasion of World Blood Donors Day on June 14, Muslim youths of Dimapur under the banner of Muslim Council Dimapur donated 35 units of blood to the Dimapur Blood Bank at the District Hospital.


With the growing demand of blood during this pandemic and the Blood Bank Dimapur facing acute shortage of blood, the Muslim Council Dimapur decided to organize this blood donation camp. Individual donation in emergency cases would also continue by the MCD Shukriya volunters (blood donors group) as and when needed. Those in need can contact at 7005622050, 9856324874, 7005506019.
The Muslim youths has for the first time donated in a organized camp though they have been donating to individuals on emergency occasions to the needy under Red Cross or other organizations.
The MCD has thanked the youths, the Voluntary Blood Donors Association and the Blood Bank of District Hospital for the cooperation which helped in mobilisation of blood during this crisis . (Page News Service)
