Music Video ‘Oh Hi Hey’ Women Empowerment was released today at School of Music Dimapur.
President, Western Chakhesang Mother’s Association, S Nezolu Rhakho gracing the occasion as Guest of Honor called the video ‘not just a music video alone but a symbol of how our young Naga girls are recognized; recognizing the worth and realizing their responsibilities in the society’.
Appreciating the singer, Jano Nyekha for making use of music to speak on the importance of women empowerment, Rhakho called the day as a day to make commitment to all women, to step up for human rights and join the fight for an equal future and also urged all to ‘choose to challenge everything that has been holding us back to become better’.
A young accomplished musician, the singer of Oh Hi Hey Women Empowerment, Jano Nyekha shared her experience of the challenges she had taken to successfully pull off the video project culminating on an auspicious eve commenting on the translation of the song with 17 dialects of the different tribes of Nagaland.
