NEW DELHI, MAY 28: Even as NSCN (IM) general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah skipped the Core Committee and NSCN (IM) meet at Chumukedima on Saturday, sources say Muivah will deliver a ”political talk’ at the ‘national assembly’ meet on May 31.
His address would be like a Report on the Indo-Naga political talks.
After his address there will be a discussion on the ‘Indo Naga Political talks’ and declaration of vow.
According to the tentative programme of the mega event, KK Angami, member of the ‘collective leadership’ will also speak.
Amid intense speculation on the fate of Naga peace talks, a key meeting of the NSCN (IM) ‘Emergency National Assembly’ has been convened on May 31.
All key leaders are expected to attend the meeting. Each Naga region will also depute 5 members for the meet.
A 10-member NSCN (IM) delegation, led by VS Atem, camped at Delhi recently and held at least two rounds of important parleys with the new peace emissary AK Mishra.
