Dimapur, November 19: NSCN (IM) general secretary Th Muivah has expressed grief at the demise of Wunganing Shimray, executive member of steering committee, NSCN on November 17 after a prolonged illness.
“The nation has lost a great and sincere leader in the death of Wunganing Shimray, leaving a vacuum that will be hard to fill,” he said in a condolence message.
Muivah expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for his departed soul.
Convener of steering committee, NSCN, Maj. (Retd.) Hutovi Chishi has also expressed grief at the demise of Wunganing Shimray.
“He was a man of courage and determination with high dreams for the Naga nation. His life is a reflection of commitment and dedication. He has given his best for the Naga people as he served to the best of his ability leading from the front. The vacuum created will be difficult to fill,” he said in another condolence message.
The steering committee expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed that the spirit of (L) Wunganing Shimray rest in peace.
