MTF selects 10 aspirants for grooming

Kohima, June 27: The Music Task Force (MTF), Nagaland today organized open solo competition at RCEMPA, Jotsoma with 40 contestants participating in the competition.
Gracing the inaugural function, MTF advisor Theja Meru encouraged the contestants to work hard to excel in the field of music.
He said that in the line and vision of rehashing the music industry, many exciting plans will be announced soon.
MTF project director Dr. Hovithal Sothu said that the objective of the competition is to open avenue to the youngsters to expose their talents and give opportunity for exposure to the outside world.
Meanwhile, 10 contestants from the competition won international, national and north east’s exposure trip and performance. The selected contestants are: Chuba Imchen, Bindhu Newmai, Zito Nyekha, Tongtem Longchar, Saronthung Kikon, Ngapgang, Echungbeni, Hanlong L. Konyak, Phangmei Konyak and Diezelhou Sothu.
They would be mentored by the judges of the competition Nise Meruno, Alobo Naga and Ajen Longchari before being finally short-listed for the respective exposure trip.
