MoTA approves total budget of Rs 22191.50 lakhs for PMJVK projects at Nuiland

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 12: The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, has approved 10 major infrastructure projects for the State of Nagaland for Financial Year 2019-2020 to Financial Year 2021-2022 with a total budget of Rs 22191.50 lakhs under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK).
The approval projects include 3 hostels, 2 residential schools, 1 CHC, 1 hospital, 1 PHC, 1 Community Centre and 1 Working Women Hostel, etc.
All the projects are located in Niuland districts.
PMJVK is a Scheme designed to address the development deficits of the identified Minority Concentration Areas.
According to the details made available to media on Sunday, out of the total cost of Rs 614 lakhs for hostel for boys and girls at Vihokhu, the Central Share of Rs 552.60 crore has been released already.
For CSC in place of Sadbhav Mandap in Niuland, the Central share of 126 lakhs, out of total cost of Rs 140 lakhs, has been released.
For Residential school at Niuland, the Central share of Rs 3278.70 lakhs, out of the total project cost of Rs 3643 lakhs has been released.
For Residential School at Showuba, the Central share of Rs 3252.60 lakhs, out of the total cost of Rs 3614 lakhs, has been released.
For Working Women Hostel at Niuland, the Central share of Rs 1214.10 lakhs, out of the total cost of Rs 1349 lakhs, has been released.
For Community Health Centre at Niuland, the Central share of Rs 349.37 lakhs, out of the total cost of Rs 388.19 lakhs has been released.
For Primary Health Centre at Khehoi, the Central share of Rs 272.98 lakhs, out of the total cost of Rs 303.31 lakhs, has been released.
For construction of one boys’ hostel and one girls’ hostel, the Central share of 394.20 lakhs, out of the total cost of Rs 438 lakhs has been released.
Meanwhile, Rs 5265.90 lakhs has been released for construction of 200 bed-hospital with residential facilities for MO and Nurses at Niuland.
