Dimapur, April 27: In the absence of any positive case of COVID-19 for the last 14 days, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has permitted Murgipatti and GS Road areas to open retail shops dealing with essential commodities and medicines only.
An Order issued by DC Dimapur today stated that only limited movement of public would be allowed for availing of essential services with strict maintenance of social distancing and no overcrowding would be allowed.
Retail shops would open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, there would be no activity permitted in Marwari Patti area.
The DC further stated that no wholesale activities would be permitted in GS Road and wholesale market of essential commodities would continue to operate from designated Godowans as per ealier order.
Wholesale vegetable markets would continue to operate from Supermarket area as per earlier order.
Wholesale medicine market would continue to operate as per earlier order.
