Dimapur, January 2: The Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) has expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of Er. Vikho-o Yhoshu, Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, saying in his death SAPO) had lost a prominent leader, a man of high calibre, of sound judgment, with unflappable leadership.
“His departure has created a vacuum yet his extraordinary legacy will thrive on and inspire many generations to come,” it said.
SAPO conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that his soul rest in eternal peace.
CPO: The Chakhroma Public Organization (CPO) has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Er. Vikho-o Yhoshü, Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly on December 30, saying in his death, we have lost a very capable leader, a leader whose services would be immensely missed and felt by the less fortunate section of the society.
“Late Er. Vikho-o Yhoshü was a very amiable, helpful and accessible leader, unlike some elected leaders his door always remains open for anyone seeking his help, guidance and advice,” it said.
The CPO conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Kaito Aye: Minister for Agriculture, Kaito Aye has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Vikho-o Yhoshü, Speaker NLA, saying in his demise Nagas have lost a towering figure who dedicated his life to serve the people and bring about positive change.
In a condolence message, the Minister said, “He was a man with utmost integrity, honor and unflinching courage. His decade at the helm of Nagaland’s Government and politics has left an excellent and lasting legacy, for which he will be forever honored and remembered.”
Kaito conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that they find the strength to bear the loss.
Zhaleo Rio: Advisor for Sericulture, Excise & Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio has expressed grief at the untimely demise of NLA Speaker, Vikho-o Yhoshu, saying in his death the State and the people of Nagaland has lost a good upcoming leader apart from the family members and the Angami community, and the vacuum so created will be difficult to filled.
The Advisor expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
NDPP SG: NDPP secretary general Abu Metha has expressed grief as the demise of Speaker of Nagaland, Er. Vikho-o Yhoshu.
“His contributions to the institutions of democracy, towards the State of Nagaland and to the people as a whole will be remembered for generations. I will personally cherish my association with him with fond memories. The examples and benchmarks he set will be inspiration for us to emulate in our lives. We will all miss him terribly,” he said.
The NDPP secretary general prayed to Almighty God to let the departed soul rest in peace and give strength and solace to the members of the bereaved family.
NDPP 5 Ghaspani: The NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C has expressed grief at the demise of Vikho-o Yhoshü, Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly on December 30 after a prolonged illness.
“The Nagas have lost one of its finest leaders who have served people with utmost sincerity,” it said in a condolence message.
The party prayed that Almighty Lord grant solace and blesses the family at this time of grief.
DAN: Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Vikho-o Yhoshu, Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly on December 30 at Mumbai.
In a condolence message, DAN secretary, Pangzankokba and Sr executive officer, Noleto Visa stated that on his maiden victory in 208, Yhoshu was appointed as Chairman, DAN and DAN was able to achieve to many benefits during his term for which the Authority would be ever grateful to him.
Stating that in his demise, the vacuum created would be very difficult to fill in, DAN said his death is not only a loss for his family and his people but for the entire state.
DAN also sent condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty give solace and peace to the family and that his soul rest in peace.
CGOK: The Chakhroma Gazetted Officers Krotho (CGOK) has also expressed grief at the demise of Vikho-o Yhoshu, Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly on December 30.
In a condolence message, the CGOK said late Yhoshu was a righteous, mild, soft and a man of principle who put his people first and took decision very wisely which would be the best for the society.
The CGOK felt that the vacuum created by his demise would be difficult for anyone to fit into his shoes and also that his demise is not only a loss to his family and his people but for the entire state.
The Krotho sent its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty give solace and peace to the family.
