More condole Xavier Rutsa’s demise

Dimapur, June 12: The National People’s Party, Nagaland State Unit has expressed grief at the sudden demise of veteran journalist Vinyulhou Xavier Rutsa on June 10.
In a release, the NPP Nagaland State Unit said late Xavier Rutsa was a good human being; who came as a humble but astute, calm but resolute and as an intelligent person. His passing away is a great loss to the Naga society, it said.
The NPP Nagaland Unit shared its deepest sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NCSU:
The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Head Office Kohima has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Xavier Rutsa, president of Kohima Press Club (KPC) Monday morning.
Late Xavier popularly known as a friend by young and old was associated with NCSU since last many years. His early departure shattered every one’s heart and we lost such a great leader. Although his destiny was too short, yet his good deeds will remain forever, it said in a condolence message.
The NCSU conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Adviser to Chief Minister, Abu Metha has expressed shock at the untimely demise of his close friend, Xavier Rutsa.
“He was a leading media personality of the region and worked for some of the most prestigious and recognized media houses in the country including The Times of India. My friendship and association with him dates back to more than a decade and a half and ever since, I have found him to be a true ambassador of the fourth estate. He carried out his duties in the most responsible manner and he positively impacted society through his reportage day in and day out. Disciplined, dedicated and committed towards his profession, Xavier was a role model for all journalists. He was a colleague, a close friend and someone who I could always rely on for advice and guidance,” he said in a condolence message.
Stating that his demise is a great loss for the society, Abu Metha conveyed condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NDPP:
The Nationalist Democratic Progress Party (NDPP) has expressed shock at the demise of Xavier Rutsa today.
In a condolence message, it said Xavier is fondly observed as a multi-faceted, down to earth person, an intellect of the present generation and a refined gentleman, who as a journalist by profession was actively associated with the media.
Stating that the press fraternity in particular and Nagaland in general have lost another of its ardent professional and valuable asset, who would be long remembered, NDPP President, Chingwang Konyak, Secretary General, Abu Metha and all ranks and files of the NDPP Central Executive Board (CEB), joined late Xavier Rutsa’s family in extending sincere condolences to the bereaved family for comfort and forbearance at this time of grief and prayed that God grant them strength and solace to overcome the grievous loss, and may the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
BJP:
The Bharatiya Janata Party Nagaland expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of late Xavier Rutsa. It said late Rutsa was a dedicated person in his profession and role model for thousands of youngsters.
Stating that his contribution for the betterment of the society, especially to the partymen and women would be remembered by all, the party prayed to the Almighty to grant solace to his near and dear ones at this hour of grief.

Director and staffs, Kripa Foundation Nagaland, while expressing shock at the sudden demise of Xavier Rutsa, president of Kohima Press Club, extended deepest condolences to late Xavier Rutsa family and Kohima Press Club members.
The Foundation said late Rutsa was a remarkable man with depth passion for journalism, sports, social and political issue of our state, a soft spoken, ever smiling, pleasant natured and God fearing person.
NPF Central Youth Wing:
The NPF Central Youth Wing has expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of Xavier Rutsa, a Senior Journalist & President Kohima Press Club.
The Youth Wing mourned his demise and felt that words are inadequate to express the loss of a Prolific Writer and a Senior Correspondent of various leading Newspapers who has contributed immensely to our society as well as to the media fraternity in disseminating unbiased reports, revealing the true sides, without any fear or favour.
The youth wing prayed that God Almighty grant solace and comfort to the family members.
NSF:
The Naga Students’ Federation expressed its deepest condolence to the untimely demise of Lt. Vinyulhou Xavier Rutsa, senior journalist and President, Kohima Press club on June 11.
NSF president, said late Vinyulhou Xavier Rutsa has been closely associated with the activities of the Naga Student’ Federation and would always be remembered as an upright person.
Stating that the demise of Lt. Vinyulhou Xavier Rutsa is not only a great loss to the media fraternity but the society at large, the Federation prayed that, the Almighty grant peace and solace to the bereaved family member and may the departed soul rest in peace.
AYO:
The Angami Youth Organization has expressed shock and grief at the untimely demise of late Xavier Rutsa who passed away on June 11.
The AYO said late Xavier Rutsa was a promising individual who set various examples of talents in the field of literary and arts.
Stating that his good gestures and valuable services towards the community and the society would never be forgotten, the AYO paid honour and tribute to the departed soul and the bereaved family.
ANCSU:
The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Lt. Xavier Rutsa, President Kohima Press Club, who has been a prominent figure for our Naga generation. The ANCSU conveyed it’s sincere condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
NEN:
The North East Network has expressed grief at the demise of Xavier Rutsa, and said his departure means the loss of a man of virtue who truly believes in social justice.
North East Network remained in solidarity and extended deepest condolence to the departed soul and his bereaved family.
NWA:
The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) has expressed shock at the untimely demise of Lt. Xavier Rutsa, President of Kohima Press Club (KPC) & Correspondent, The Times if India who breathe his last on June 11.
NWA General Secretary, Vekhozo, said Late. Xavier contributions towards the Nagaland Wrestling Association(NWA) in particular and Wrestling fraternity in general have been immeasurable.
He said Xavier Rutsa was one among the Media Committee Members during the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) 25th Tournament Anniversary celebration in 2016.
