Dimapur, January 10: The monthly District Health Review Meeting cum 2020 IPPI Workshop was held at Chief Medical Officer’s Conference hall Dimapur on January 10.
During the review meeting, Dr. Antoly Suu, Dy.CMO informed the members on the selection for the Best SC/PHC/CHC Award under Communization in each district. She requested the Block Officials to follow the Scoring Criteria while selecting a health unit for the said award.
She further informed the members on Kalyakalp Award. Dr. T. Pangjung Sangtam, CMO Dimapur stressed on the importance of participating in these awards and urged all Health Units to participate ardently.
Dr. Sangtam also informed that “Not Work, No Pay” policy will be implemented strictly in all the health units and requested the Block Officer in-charge to submit weekly attendance report for further submission to the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur.
He further requested to continue disseminating awareness on Ayushman Bharat so as to increase issuing e-cards and increase claimants. He also expressed his appreciations to the officials for their contributions towards achieving the Best Performing District in AEFI Surveillance in the State.
During the meeting, Rosemary, Program Executive- MiracleFeet India also highlighted on the activities carried under ClubFoot Clinic, DH Dimapur. She requested the members to identify and refer children with clubfoot to the clinic which is providing treatment free of cost to all the patients. The DTO office has been assigned to present RNTCP activities in the next Review meeting.
After the review meeting, Workshop on IPPI 2020 was held. Dr. Sheila Longkumer, SMO- WHO as resource person re-oriented the participants on IPPI 2020 activities. She highlighted various areas where emphasis could be given. IPPI Sunday 2020 will be held on January 19. (Page News Service)
