Dimapur, May 11: Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner, Limawabang Jamir has informed that all vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods whether loaded or empty would be allowed passage across interstate check gates (Tzutepela and Watiyongpang) from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Further all vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods and its occupants (driver/helper) would undergo strict medical screening as per the protocol including disinfection of the vehicles at the check gates.
Any person/group acting in violation of the order would be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
Meanwhile, in another Oder, the DC has fixed the market timing regulation in Mokokchung from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the market opening days till further orders.
Further category of shops to open on market days would continue as per earlier directive. (Page News Service)
