Mokokchung, May 19: Responding to the call of the Indian Prime Minister for a Seva Hi Sanghathan Abhiyan (Service is an organization mission), the ST Morcha of BJP Mokokchung District undertook a ‘one-time-meal’ to frontline workers, especially security forces, enforcing the lockdown in the district.
“This is just a small gesture to say thank you to all the frontline workers who are battling this dreaded virus for the past more than a year,” said Oyimpong Longchar, president of ST Morcha, BJP Mokokchung while interacting with the SDO (C)Temsuchuba in his office chambers.
Longchar also expressed gratitude to the ST Nagaland State president Wanphong Konyak and the BJP Nagaland State president Temjen Imna Along Longkumer for understanding the efforts, dedication, understanding and the call for solidarity to the frontline workers.
The ST Morcha, BJP Mokokchung prepared a meal for the security forces -Nagaland police, traffic, IRB personnel and Dobashis – manning the vintage points in and around Mokokchung town.
The BJP team also visited the AKM (Ao Kaketshir Mungdang) office and appreciated the student body for their yeomen service in the fight against the pandemic, said a Mokokchung BJP ST Mocrcha release.
