Mkg DC issues advisory for returnees

Dimapur, April 14: Following the detection of fresh COVID cases, as well as registration of a COVID death, in the district recently, the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung has issued an advisory for Village/Ward Task Force on COVID-19 to handle returnees.

As per the advisory, if the returnee develops any illness related to COVID-19, he/she should contact control room immediately.

Home quarantine

  1. Ensure that the returnee is strictly home quarantined.
  2. During the quarantine period:
    a. He/she should not be allowed to venture outside his/her house.
    b. Visitors should be restricted.
    c. He/she should follow all safe health etiquettes for COVID-19.
    d. He/she can be allowed go out for any medical reasons to visit/consult after informing Control Room.
  3. Ensure that the family is not discriminated in any way including procurement of essential commodities.
  4. He/she can be released from home quarantine after 10 (ten) days if he/she does not develops any illness related to COVID-19.
