Dimapur, June 14: Minority Premier League, a cricket tournament organised by Minority Samaj, Dimapur got underway this evening at Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School group.
The event was inaugurated by H. Tovihoto Ayemi, Advisor, Department of Power, government of Nagaland who graced the occasion as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Tovihoto appreciated the contribution of non Naga community members towards the well-being and growth of Dimapur.
He said peaceful co-existence of all communities irrespective of cultural and religious background is pivotal for the progress of the society and called upon the non Naga communities to promote peace and unity among the people.
