Minority leaders hold coordination meet

Dimapur, February 7: A coordination meeting was held on February 5 at Jalmahal Conference Hall to felicitate Mukibur Rahaman, Secretary (COB) NPF Central by Minority Wing NPF for bringing laurel to minorities in Dimapur in political field. The leaders present during the felicitation programme were NPF Party leaders Dr S Amos Lkr, Vice President, NPF Central, Wati Jamir, Vice President, Dimapur Division, Itokhu Chophy , General Secretary Dimapur Division, Wangshikokla Jamir, GS NPF Women Wing Central, Adv Arun Mishra, Apun Naben, Roshan BK from NPF Minority Wing Central along with non political invited leaders from civil society like Kumar Subba, founder President of DGU, Ahidur Rahaman, working President Muslim Council and Makhan Chetia, Chairman Assamese Community who encouraged members to serve common people through political support with positivity.

On induction as Central Office bearer at NPF the oldest Regional Party of North East India, on behalf of NPF Minority Wing, Puja Das Paul, women coordinator NPF Minority Wing and Shahid Barbhuiya, President MW Dimapur Division felicitated Mukibar Rahaman with flower bouquet, traditional shawl & muffler and a certificate.
Respective speakers while delivering their speeches lauded the selfless activities by Minority leaders under NPF Minority Wing for the betterment of minority community and expressed gratitude towards NPF President Dr Shurhozelie, President NPF Central and Achumbemo Kikon Secretary General, NPF for inducting minority leader in the Central team as COB, which is a milestone achievement for Minority Wing to work ahead for the community and the State.
The ceremony began with a welcome speech from the meeting Chairperson, Roshan BK with an invocation prayer & words of blessings by Wangshikokla Jamir followed by inspiring speeches delivered by party leaders, well wishers and social leaders present in the Conference Hall.
Bishnu Bhattacharjee presented the activity report and tireless service by minority leaders since the last many years during and after NPF ruled the Government. He extended gratitude to all the minority leaders from civil society and also mentioned about the sincere efforts put on to contribute in developmental activities and dedication shown by political activists from Minority community in Nagaland from all the political parties which is highly commendable.
Apun Naben expressed his experience sitting in opposition when the Minority wing extended tremendous service to common people specially during pandemic situations.
Shahid Ahmed Barbhuiya thanked all the NPF party leaders of all file and rank and also to non-political leaders for their support and cooperation extended towards NPF Minority Wing and assured better service in coming days ahead.
