Ministry of Health & Family Welfare launches NFHS-6 in Nagaland

Dimapur, July 6: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has launched the Sixth round of National Family Health Survey, popularly known as NFHS-6 in the state of Nagaland with the objective of estimating reliable indicators of population, maternal & child health and family planning at the district, State and National level.
International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai an autonomous institute of the ministry of health and family welfare is the nodal agency for conducting the survey on behalf of the ministry. The IIPS in turn has engaged field agencies to carry out the survey.
Centre for Market Research and Social Development Pvt. Ltd. (CMRSD) has been appointed as Field Agency to conduct the survey in the State of Nagaland for NFHS-6.
The CMRSD has successfully completed Household Listing and it is planning to conduct detailed Household Survey and Health tests from the selected Primary Sampling Units (PSUs) in Nagaland during July to December, 2023 or till end of Survey.
During the main survey, trained field teams would be visiting various selected Primary Sampling Units (Villages) and urban areas for conduct of Household Survey and Health tests in Dimapur district.
