Minister Kruse inaugurates council hall of Kiruphema Bawe

Kohima, April 27: Nagaland Minister for Women Resource Development & Horticulture, Salhoutuonuo Kruse today inaugurated the council hall of Kiruphema Bawe under the 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Kruse expressed hope that through the hall would bring justice to the people of the upcoming generation in doing what is right and also unity among the villagers towards a better future.
Maintaining that Village Councils play an important role in upholding the laws and practices as empowered by the Constitution, she said in a democratic set-up, village council is an authority and no other authority can hinder its functioning system.
She also said the council hall that has been built today should bring justice to every citizen and encouraged villagers not to lose their tradition or culture but to keep it alive as Kiruphema is an old village with a superior history.
The programme was chaired by Kekhrievituo Dahou, invocation by Pastor Kiruphema Baptist Church Viletuo Vielie, welcome address by Hekho Hesielie, Chairman Kiruphema Bawe village council, special number from Neilasielie and team, brief report of village council hall was also presented by Neingukholie Vielie, convenor building committee and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dzüviu Zhünyü.
