Middle Point Colony informs

Dimapur, November 30: The Middle Point Colony has informed all the resident of its colony and also the neighbouring colonies not to dump or dispose any garbage in the colony jurisdiction or roadsides.
In a press release, the MPCC GB Hukato Aye and secretary, Johan Achumi stated that the Colony Council has deployed volunteers for the past two week and has caught many defaulters.
It also informed the landlords/building owners to check their own tenants who are throwing their household waste on the roadsides especially during night time and also in the wee hours.
The Council stated that it would impose fines and take action on those who are repeatedly not complying with the Council’s directives.
The Council also asked all to be responsible and dispose their wastes in the DMC tractors which come for the collection of the waste in every colony. It further asked all shops, restaurants, workshops, offices, institutions etc to keep a waste bin and if found throwing garbage on the roadside would be penalized.
