
Dimapur, March 13: MGM, Higher Secondary School Dimapur, organised a poster campaign against all form of war and aggression in the world.
A press release on Saturday informed that more than 60 students from Class 4 to Class 11 took part in the campaign by creating posters and collages expressing their concern over the people who suffer from miseries and destruction due to wars.
Rev. Fr. Dr. PS Varghese, Vice-President of the School, said that peace and reconciliation are major studies across the world. He further said that we need peace-loving, peace-living and peace-practicing communities in the world.
Principal Reji Abraham urged students to keep their eyes and ears open to see and hear not only the good things happening but also to see and hear the miseries and pains of people, especially during war.
He said that students need to be sensitive towards issues concerning the world and should learn to react to it.
“We can expect for a better world without war and aggression only when young people have a heart to understand others’ misery. The present day students are the future leaders and decision makers”, he said.
