Menuosetuo is Dapfütsumia Wrestling heat champion

Kohima, October 12: Continuing the winning spree, 20 year old Menuosetuo Yiese emerged champion of the Dapfütsumia Wrestling Heat organized Dapfütsumia Youth Organisation, Kohima Village at D Khel Ground, Seikhazou.
Yiese has several champions’ title include defending champion of Nagaland Wrestling meet 2018 Hornbill International Wrestling championship 2018 organised by Nagaland Wrestling Association.
The 19-year-old grappler standing at 6 feet and weighing 118 kg is the son of late Khrilatuo Yiese of Kohima village.
In the final bought, Meneuosetuo defeated Kevisalie Kire. Seyiekhrietuo Yiese and Mengukhrietuo Kire bagged the third and fourth positions.
The winners received cash awards of Rs 20000, Rs 15000, Rs 10000 and Rs 7000 respective.
Earlier, Vice Chairman of D Khel Council Keneizezo Yiese exhorted the wrestlers and the gathering. Chaired by DYO president Vituonyü Khezhie the programme commenced with Associate Pastor of Khedi Baptist Church Dr Ruokuovilie Sachü pronouncing invocation while DYO wrestling secretary Kelhouvakhrie Kire administered oath to the competitors and officials.
