Dimapur, November 3: Mega Legal Services camp organised under the auspices Nagaland State Legal Services Authority & Kiphire District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with Government departments, stakeholders & NGOs was held in Aspirational Kiphire district at local ground, Kiphire town on October 31 with Neiko Kanuo NJS, Registrar, Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench as special guest.
In his speech, Neiko Kanuo said the main objective of the camp is to educate and to let the people know their own rights and benefits. He said that we have the right to report or approach the legal services if anything happens. He also mentioned about the Lok Adalat and informed that every district has already established the panel law office in their own respective districts to give advice and help out the people in times of their need.
Short speeches were delivered by ADC Kiphire, Reny Wilfred, IAS and Setsathong, Project Director, DRDA. Welcome address was delivered by Nokshei Kano NJS, CJM & secretary KDLSA, key note address by Mezivolu T. Therieh NJS, member secretary, NSLSA.
The programme was chaired by Sentila Aier, Assistant Public Prosecutor Kiphire. 3200 persons registered for the programme.
