Dimapur, May 16: Muslim Council Dimapur has urged the Naga Students Federation, Kohima to take care of 25 Muslim students of Nagaland stranded in different states of the country.
In a letter to NSF president, MCD working president, Ahidur Rahman stated that it has been closely watching the tireless efforts of NSF not only for the welfare of the students community but also for the larger interest of all the citizens of Nagaland both within the state and outside in this critical situation being faced by the human race.
“The MCD desires with confidence that the Muslim students of Nagaland stranded in different parts of India will also be considered by you as your own brothers and sisters. Kindly take care of them also in this time of great hardship by creating in them a sense of care and belongingness,” he stated.
Sharing the list of 25 stranded students of the community, the MCD also requested the NSF to inform the Naga Students Unions of different citizens wherever possible to get in touch with them to give them a sense of confidence and extend help wherever possible in whatever way.
The MCD in this Holy month of ‘Ramzan’ prayed for the NSF and the whole students’ community for the pain and difficulties faced at such a young age. (Page News Service)
