MBC to organize Children Recreational Event at DDSC from Oct 6

Dimapur, September 12: The Mind Blowers Club (MBC) is planning to convert the DDSC Stadium, Dimapur into a place where children can come and take part in different fun filled activities like bouncing jumbo, pools, karaoke etc. as well as take part in art competitions.
The first of its kind “Children Recreational Event 2019” is scheduled to take place from October 6 to October 8, which also coincides with the Durga puja holidays.
Talking more about the upcoming event with the media fraternity here at Lerina’s Café, Duncan Bosti, President of MBC Yangerla said that though Dimapur has a few places for recreational activities, they are all very far off and the few yearly events that happen are often not suitable for children and therefore the club has come up with this idea and it hopes to provide the children with around 20 games.
Secretary Mayangsangla added that it is important for children to get out of their rooms and the event is an endeavor in this direction. She further added that the event is designed for children under the age of 13 years.
Yangerla said that October 6 is a Sunday and on the inauguration day children from different orphanages will get to experience the event free of cost, but for others and for each day, the ticket is priced at Rs 500.
Mayangsangla cleared that it is not mandatory to buy a Rs 500 ticket to get into the stadium as children can buy another ticket priced at Rs 100 and after that they will have to buy separate tickets for the games they want to play. The ticket costing Rs 500 covers all the games and the children need not pay anything more.
The entry for the parents has been kept free of cost. There will also be stalls set up inside the stadium focused on children.
The tickets are currently available at I.C.S.T. & Abacus (Chumukedima), Little Store (4th Mile), Gadgets Spa (Padumpukhuri), Little Store (Super Market), Candy House (Duncan), New card Shop (Church Road), and Fine Things (Circular Road). (Page News Service)
