Nagaland News

Dimapur, April 5: The Tenyimi Youth Organization Dimapur held its executive meeting and thoroughly deliberated over the March 22 incident that killed 3 innocent, unarmed farmers in cold-blood.

The house unanimously stood in support of the 10 days ultimatum served to the state government by the Zeliang Baudi Nagaland and Nagaland Zeliang People Organization on March 31 and appealed to the state government to act swift without further delay.
The TYOD further viewed that, further delay and negligence on the part of the government will only escalate tension among the people and may result to untoward incident anytime.
TYOD while fully endorsing the ultimatum, reminded the government that criminal cases should not be misconstrued or mixed up with boundary dispute.
In a press release issued by its president, Thejangulie Angmi and secretary, Khrozote Kapfo, the TYOD said all perpetrators armed with automatic sophisticated weapons whoever they are should be brought to booked under relevant section of law without any further delay.
In the event of the shortfall from state government, the TYOD shall stand with ZBN and NZPO till justice is delivered, it added. (Page News Service)
