Mandatory 14-day institutional quarantine for all arriving Nagaland

Dimapur, April 9: The Government of Nagaland has announced mandatory institutional quarantining of all returnees to Nagaland on resumption of flight services for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
In an advisory issued Thursday, Principal Secretary (Home), Abhijit Sinha strongly advised all persons planning to return to Nagaland on resumption of commercial flight services to Dimapur to postpone their return for the time being.
For those whose return is unavoidable, the Principal Secretary said upon landing a Dimapur Airport, all returnee will be medically screened and thereafter taken in vehicles arranged by Nagaland State Transport to the institutional quarantine centres designated by the Government of Nagaland at Dimapur.
He said informed that the returnees shall mandatorily undergo a minimum of 14 days quarantine there.
The Principal Secretary further informed that all interstate border will continue to remain sealed till further orders. (Page News Service)
