LYO Kohima village issue guidelines


Dimapur, May 20: The Lhisemia Youth Organisation (LYO), Kohima Village, has issued guidelines which will be strictly enforced in L.Khel ancestral jurisdiction.
In a release, LYO banned sale of alcohol, and warned of hefty fine followed by exile from L.Khel jurisdiction for repeated offence.
It also prohibited engaging illegal Bangladeshi immigrants (IBIs) in any form of service. Penalty for the offence is Rs 10,000. It also banned hunting, fishing, collection of firewood and other natural resource. Offenders will be penalised as per existing rule under different categories.
The LYO said engaging in immoral activities at any time within the jurisdiction will invite stern disciplinary action. It also informed that any organisation/club/Church etc. planning to hold sales day under L.Khel jurisdiction to avail permission from the LYO, failing which offenders will be penalised.
The LYO informed colony/area youth organisation under L.Khel ancestral jurisdiction to enforce the guidelines in their respective colonies/areas. (Page News Service)
