GUWAHATI, JUNE 10: Assam’s Lovlina Borgohain becomes the first female pugilist from the State to qualify for the Olympics.
The young athlete Lovlina would be seen fighting it out in the Women’s 69 kg Welterweight category at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Reputedly, she is the first lady from Assam to represent India at the Olympics.
