Lotha Region, Wung Tangkhul Region NSCN (IM) reiterates support to Framework Agreement

Dimapur, September 26: All rank and file of the Lotha Region, NSCN/GPRN have reiterated unflinching support to the Collective Leadership of NSCN and the talk team headed by Th Muivah, General Secretary, NSCN and Chief Naga Negotiator.
Reiterating its stand, the Lotha Region said that the Naga solution should be based on the historic Framework Agreement of the 3rd August, 2015. Further, Naga flag and Yehzabo (Constitution) must form a part of the Naga political solution in order to make it honorable and acceptable.
“We have the strong believe that Government of India will display her political maturity by honoring the historical and political rights of the Naga people,” Chichamo Tsanglao, Caretaker CAO, Lotha Region, NSCN/GPRN stated in a press release.
Wung Tangkhul Region:
The Wung Tangkhul Region of the NSCN (IM) has reaffirmed and reiterated its unflinching stand and support for the 3rd August Framework Agreement.
In a press statement, C Kasar, Caretaker/CAO, Wung Tangkhul Region said the Government of India officially took cognizance of the sovereignty of the Naga people and accordingly agreed for sharing of sovereign power to be the basis for honourable solution between the two entities-Goi and Nagas.
“Thus without respecting and recognizing the Naga Flag and Constitution, there cannot be an honourable solution as envisioned in the Framework Agreement,” it said adding, “We will stand to the end for our flag and constitution come what may.” (Page News Service)
