LOP appeals to CM

Nagaland News

Dimapur, September 11: The office of the landowners pattadars (LOP), whose lands are under army occupation in Dimapur town, has appealed to the Chief Minister if Nagaland to personally intervene into their plight and do justice at the earliest.
In a representation to the Chief Minister, the LOP lamented that the joint survey conducted by the army, defense estate and district administration in 2019 has not been approved till date.
“The landowners /pattadars have been peacefully and hopefully waiting for disposal of justice and handing over their lands to them. The forum has been cooperating with the government, however, it has been unfortunate to see the prolong delay,” it said.
Appealing to the CM to intervene into the matter, the LOP expressed hope that the CM’s personal intervention shall bear positive outcome.
