LoO, orgs condole ENPO president’s demise

Dimapur, May 17: Leader of Opposition, TR Zeliang has expressed grief at the sudden demise of C Sashi Naga, president ENPO Monday morning at Referral Hospital, Dimapur.
“A gentleman who dedicated his life for the welfare of the people and especially the ENPO region. Just a couple of months into his term as the President of ENPO, his untimely demise at this hour will create a huge vacuum and is a great loss for the people of our State and in particular the ENPO,” he said.
Zeliang extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.


NTC: The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has expressed shock at the untimely demise of C. Sashi Naga, president, Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) who breathed his last at CIHSR, Dimapur in the early hour of May 17.
“A dedicated and an experienced social worker had also served ENPO in various capacities earlier, and his death has not only created void in the ENPO circle but Nagas in general,” it said.
The NTC conveyed deepest condolence to the ENPO and the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

By dint of hard work, honesty and commitment, he rose through the ranks and became ENPO President,” it said, adding his positive footprints will inspire ENPO tribes in particular and Nagas in general in all social and political matters.

TUD: The Tangkhul Union Dimapur has expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of C Sashi Naga, president, Eastern Naga People’s Organization (ENPO) on the night of May 16.
“Words fail to describe our grieve on his demise as we recall the initiatives he had undertaken without publicity and silently spreading the message of brotherhood of all Nagas beyond the Nagaland state,” the union said.
