Lok Sabha MP, others condole Imtikumzuk’s demise


Dimapur, September 23: Member of Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi has condoled the demise of Imtikumzuk Longkumer, MLA and Advisor Sericulture and Excise.
Tokheho said that Imtikumzuk was a person who had the caliber to contribute in governance and to our state.
Stating that his demise leaves a vacuum amongst the upcoming generation of leaders in the state, the MP said he was a humble person who had the will for goodness towards all he knew and stood by his word.
In this hour of grief Tokheho conveyed heartfelt condolences to his wife and children.
K G Kenye: Member of Rajya Sabha, K G Kenye has expressed shock at the sudden demise of Imtikumzuk on September 22.
In a condolence message, Kenye said that during their association in NPF party, Imtikumzuk was found to be upright and promising leader but regretted for his life which came to be an abrupt end in a very young age.
He prayed to Almighty God to compensate his near and dear ones and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
S C Jamir: Former Nagaland Chief Minister & former Governor of Goa, Maharashtra, Gujaray and Odisha, Dr S C Jamir has expressed shock at the passing away of MLA Imtikumzuk, who represented 26 Aonglenden Assembly constituency.
In a condolence message, Jamir stated that Imtikumzuk had worked with him as youth leader as well as his PA. He said as a public leader, Imtikumzuk had exhibited his devotion and dedication for the people he represented.
Stating that Imtikumzuk’s demise is a great loss for the constituency in particular and the people in general, Jamir and his wife sent heartfelt condolences to all the near and dear ones of the bereaved family.
NPCC: NPCC president, K Therie has expressed grief at the demise of late Imtikumzuk Longkumer, Adviser, Sericulture & Excise and said he was one of the men who truly struggled for the welfare of the people. Having been long associated with politics, it was only befitting that the people of 26 – Aonglenden Assembly Constituency elected him to Represent them in the 2013 and 2018 General Elections.
Stating that his untimely demise has caused an irreparable loss to the people who have lost an upcoming leader in the prime of life and experience and thereby who had much more to contribute to society and the state, the NPCC Rank and File has expressed deepest sympathies to in this dark hour.
C L John: MLA C L John has expressed shock at the demise of late Imtikumzuk Longkumer, MLA & Advisor, Sericulture & Excise on September 22 at Apollo Hospital New Delhi.
He said it would be very difficult to fill the vacuum caused by his premature death and his service to the Aonglenden Assembly Constitunecy and Ao community in particular and to Nagas in general.

CNTC: The Central Nagaland Tribes Council has expressed its sadness over the untimely demise of Imtikumzuk Longkumer, Advisor Sericulture and Excise Government of Nagaland who passed away at Apollo Hospital New Delhi after a brief illness.
Stating that his death is a great loss has left a vacuum in the CNTC family fold, the CNTC also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty grant them solace and strength in this hour of grief.
JDU: Ranks and Files of the Janata Dal United, Nagaland have expressed grief at the untimely and unfortunate demise of Imtikumzuk Longkumer, Advisor, Sericulture and Excise government of Nagaland at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi on September 22.
The JD(U) Nagaland prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength and comfort to the bereaved family members.
