Dimapur, December 11: The Lotha Lower Range Sports Association held the inaugural programme of its 63rd Annual Sports meet at the Public Ground Bhandari, on Tuesday.
N Jacob Yanthan, Jt Director Agriculture, Nagaland & Vice President, Nagaland Veteran Football Association unfurled the LLRSA Flag, unveiled the logo and also kicked off the meet as special guest.
In a brief speech he stated that LLRSA has produced commendable players over the years. To deliver the best in the field of sports, besides the routine trainings and practices, you are what you make of yourself by sharpening and working on your skill, he said. Factors such as sense of confidence and competition, connection through team work, caring attitude towards opponents, self control and discipline helps to mould a pleasant personality out of a person he also observed.

Our Sporting spirit helps us to foster feeling of friendship and co-operation amongst us and on the other hand we get to learn the taste of winning and losing which make us more determined to do better, he added.
