Library books distributed to 4 schools in Kiphire


Dimapur, May 12: A programme for distribution of library books in Kiphire district was held in the DC’s conference hall on May 9. The program was organized by the District Education Officer Kiphire in collaboration with Sarvahitey DLSA Kiphire and Nagaland State Legal Service Authority project on ‘Bridge connecting India through libraries’ for students of Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire.
ADC Kiphire, Reny Wilfred IAS stated that books issued to the libraries are very important for the remote areas for enhancing one’s knowledge. He thanked DEO Kiphire for undertaking different programme for Kiphire and also encouraged the students to read books and share their experience.
Books were distributed to five schools under Kiphire.
Earlier, Prem Prakash KAL group based in Dimapur and partners of Sarvahitey stated that they are targeting to open libraries all over India and complete it within 2020. (Page News Service)
