LFI College organises educational trip to Khonoma

Dimapur, October 10: The Department of History, Livingstone Foundation International College, organised a one-day educational trip to Khonoma Village, Kohima, on October 8, keeping in mind the broad objectives of organizing exposure and educational trips and to give the students an experience of learning beyond the classroom.
Often described as a ‘warrior village’, Khonoma is known for its fierce resistance during the British colonial period. Khonoma is also the first Green Village in Asia. With its naturally blessed resources, intriguing history and rich culture.
The main objective of this tour was to sensitize them on the relevance of our rich historical and cultural heritage sites and its preservation. There were total number of 21 students which includes BA 1st semester history core course students and BA 3rd semester History Honors as well as History general students, accompanied by 6 lecturers from various departments.
