Dimapur, September 10: The Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School was conferred with two categories of the prestigious and the biggest school award in India, the National School Award (NSA) on August 25 during the NSA Awards Ceremony held at The Imperia Hotel, New Delhi. Heads of around 1000 schools from all over India converged at New Delhi for the prestigious awards ceremony. Dr. Abha Rishi, CEO-Atal Incubation Centre, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida was the guest of honour.
Under the NSA, Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School was awarded the Best Residential Boarding School of the Year Award and the Most Nature Friendly School Award.
The National School Award is the biggest awards in education sector in India till date. This platform is meant to standardize every school of each state for their best practices which are involved in making India’s future. The National School Award is presented every year and ranks the schools according to their best practices to develop young minds of the nation so that the future generations can survive this competitive world.
It is noteworthy that on the basis of the all India survey by NSA jury, the awards have been conferred considering different parameters like CBSE board result of grade 10th & 12th, accomplishments of school in IIT-JEE, NEET, KVPY, NSEC, NSEP, innovative teaching pedagogy being adopted by school, projects and assignments being given to students, educational trips and excursions, physical infrastructure and other facilities being provided for academics as well as sports.
