Leadership training for minority women held


Dimapur, July 30: Parivartan Foundation for Social Change & Economic Reform [PFSCER], a National level NGO conducted Leadership Training Programe for minority women on July 29 at Town Hall Pfutsero, under Phek District. The programe was attended by 70 women participants.
The short speech and introduction speech was given by Ezekiel Koza. The resources person was Zunyi-u Zhiemi, Matron CHC Pfutsero who explained to the minority women about good health and cleanliness the richness of health not only mean free from all diseases, it includes spiritually, physically, mentally etc.
She said there are many hospitals but no special institute or places to teach about good health.
She further said diseases like cancer, B.P, heart diseases etc are known to be killer diseases but all these can be prevented by having a balance diet, regular check-up and cleanliness, adding medicines should be taken wisely in order to prevent side effects.
She also said that kitchen wastes should be properly disposed in order not to let the flies and germs feed on.
