LBCD conducts medical camp

Dimapur, October 20: Extending its outreach mission ministry to wider horizon, Lotha Baptist Diphupar A conducted medical camp in Yamhon area with Liphi village as the center (around 50 kms from Dimapur) on October 19.
More than 100 patients drawn from 8 villages namely Liphi, Richeyan, Ronsuyan, Hayiyan, Lio-Wokha, Longjung, Sungkha and Supayan availed the facility during the medical camp, and were given medicines free of cost, according to their ailments.
The doctors also examined patients with poor vision and gave them medically prescribed fitted spectacles free of cost.
Richumvu, 110 years old and the oldest person in Liphi village who could not come to the medical camp due to old age was given treatment at her doorstep by the doctors.
Dr Wopen Tsopoe, DrThungchanpeni Patton, nurses Lisenbeni Patton and Chichanpeni Tsanglae, who are church members of LBCD, conducted the medical camp. The expenses for the medicines and spectacles were borne by LBCD. (Page News Service)
