LBC holds commencement exercise

Dimapur, April 6: Living Bible College, Ayinato, Dimapur today observed its “14th Commencement Exercises Program” here at the college premise in which 19 students were conferred with B.Th and M.Th degrees.
The programme was graced by Rev. Dr. Khehovi Shohe, Director of Sumi Baptist Convention as the guest speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Dr. Shohe said that Christians today are failing to live like Christ and people therefore reject Christianity seeing the lives of the Christians.
He asked the graduating students to let their lives be the message they want to spread so that when people see their lives, they are able to see Christ. He added that they should prepare themselves to walk in the footsteps of Christ to win the lost souls as they go to face the world representing Him and all their knowledge and merit would not be enough if they don’t kneel in front of God as they start their ministry.
Of the 19 students who graduated today, 12 have successfully completed B.Th and seven completed M.Th respectively. During the ceremony, special awards were also given to the students who did exceptionally well in different spheres during their course.
Aghali Shilena won ‘Student of the Year Award’; Kivitoli won ‘Spiritual Life Award’; Mughato Swu won ‘Academic Excellence Award’; Khrusazo Swuro won ‘Academic Excellence Award, Bible Knowledge Award, and Best Preaching Award’; Samit Lakra won ‘Best Discipline Award.’
