
Kohima, December 6: A 4-day long 51st games and sports meet of Khulazu Basa Youth Organization (KBYO) got underway today at Khulazu Basa Local Ground in Phek district. Kudecho Khamo, president, Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) and intending candidate for 18 Chozuba A/C graced the inaugural ceremony as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Khamo called upon the youth to actively involve in the field of games and sports. Maintaining that sports have been gaining popularity in the modern society, he challenged the sports lovers to focus on professionalism to compete with the rest of the world.
He informed that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has been according best efforts towards promotion of sports in Nagaland.
Khamo also challenged the youth to associate with trade and commerce activities and told them to be sincere, committed and truthful in their dealings to prosper.
Sharing greetings, Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) general secretary Seve R. Vadeo called upon the youth to make the best use of their talents and bring pride and glory to the community. He challenged the youth to translate their talents into positive result through hard work and dedication.
Zavepra Puro, president Chokri Area Games & Sports Association also exhorted the youth.
