DIMAPUR, MARCH 9: An application filed under Right to Information Act (RTI) has asked the State’s School Education Department to provide details on, among others, the number of teachers transferred with post, if any, in the last 5 years from Primary schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools and Colleges established by Nagaland Government in Noklak, Mon, Chümoukedima and Kohima.
“If so, (provide) the name of teachers with name of school where he/she was serving and where he/she was transferred to”, read the RTI application filed by Robert N Solo, General Secretary of Kezekevi Thehuo Ba.
He has asked the Department to provide information on teachers attached to any offices or VIP ~ if so, their names and the office or VIP attached to; name of proxy/truant teachers, if any.
Other details sought in the application include the name of Government institutions with location and number of students in each class, number of teachers’ posts granted and number of actual teachers posted.
